Leading UK telecommunications infrastructure services provider, Magdalene, owned by M Group Services, has been appointed as one of a select number of suppliers to work with Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL) on the 3UK Unilateral Street Works Build program.
The contract award will see Magdalene deploy passive infrastructure to enable delivery of 5G technologies for the 3UK network. The contract scope includes; the deployment of new street works poles up to 20 metres in height; trenching and duct work to deploy new cabinets; and accompanying DICI activities which will be delivered by 5G network equipment vendors.
Magdalene Managing Director, Mark Turner, commented: “This new contract win with MBNL is another significant step forward for Magdalene’s mobile strategy and further strengthens our position in the mobile market. Once again, this contract will see Magdalene work alongside, and utilise the capabilities and scale of, Morrison Telecom Services and M Group Services.”
Magdalene is one of three operating businesses that form the M Group Services Telecom Division, along with; Morrison Telecom Services, a leading provider of infrastructure design, build and maintenance in the fixed telecom market; and Avonline Networks, a specialist provider of telecom network build and installation services on behalf of network providers, alternative networks and local authorities.
