Magdalene has been awarded a place on a National Grid contract to deliver critical communications services across England & Wales.
The contract, which commenced on 1 November 2024, sees Magdalene work with National Grid until 2035, and builds on the long-standing relationship that exists between M Group Services and National Grid.
A leading UK telecommunications infrastructure services provider, Magdalene will support and maintain the National Grid Operational Telecom Network infrastructure (OpTel).
As part of the framework contract, Magdalene will work to bring the network up to date with the latest technology and prepare National Grid for future operations.
Martin Wright, Director for Magdalene, said: “National Grid are a key client for us, and we are excited to be delivering such important work on their Operational Telecoms network.”

Throughout this framework, Magdalene will be supporting National Grid in the shared goal to future proof essential network infrastructure, to deliver a higher quality of service to its clients and customers.
